Rodeo 09

This weekend we went back for the annual tristate rodeo in Fort Madison, IA. As usual, we stayed with the Krogmeier clan and Noah got plenty of play time with Ayla. He had a great time wearing some cowboy gear (complete with flannel shirt we cut the sleeves off of), having his first pony ride, picking up candy at the parade, and going for a swim. We were all exhausted when we got back home, but it was a great trip!

Labor Day

This weekend we headed up to Michigan for one last summer weekend at the Lake. It was great weather and there was a lot of playing for small children and for big children (see the pictures of Josh and Uncle Dave tubing). Noah had a great time playing with his cousins. We also celebrated CJs 2nd birthday, Kate's 6th birthday, and several other birthdays (Maggie, Brad, Clark... am I forgetting any?) Another fun weekend!

Wedding fun

This weekend we had a GREAT time at the Pawlowicz/Merello wedding. Amy (the bride) is part of the infamous FLA7 + Dr. Brace high school crew that I keep in touch with. We have made it a strong tradition to always go to each other's wedding. This one was no different, although we missed Kelly at her own brother's wedding. The kids got together on Friday afternoon for a playdate and the adult playdate took place on Saturday. It was a fabulous time and a beautiful wedding!
