Happy Easter 2014!

We had a very nice Easter this year :)  My parents were on vacation in Holland, which was a bit of a bummer, but we carried on nonetheless.  Sunday morning we had a low key morning at home with a few gifts (new toothbrushes for all, excitement!) and some Easter bunny ears!
We got cleaned up and headed over to Burr Ridge.  Yep, we crashed my parents house without them there.  Josh and Kjersten were at the ready with delicious food and plenty of fun Easter stuff!
Sixty some eggs hidden, we were on a mission!

After an awesome french toast bake, we were fueled up for an outdoor search as well!

 Our 3 bunnies!
Somewhat decent family photo, nice superhero pose from Noah!
Kjersten's attempts to get him walking did not work, he's convinced his legs just can't do it yet!
Hope you all had a beautiful weekend as well!

Is it (blink) spring?!

Well, we're back into the swing of things after spring break!  The weather is FINALLY starting to feel spring-like and soccer season has cranked up.  I've been enjoying my days off (Wednesday and Friday) with special snuggle time with my lil one.  I definitely am drinking in the baby days because I know they are coming to an end quickly!
Spring hats are required, the puppy one may be a tad too small for this buddha baby!

Ok, I'll come clean, I snuggle them all.  Sam post nap is a rare and sweet experience!
Last weekend we had another dog as we were dogsitting for our neighbors.  Dug is a pup, just 5 months old.  But Ellie did a fair job keeping up with him!

Dug is a bit skittish and was NOT sold on Mike for awhile.  But he eventually warmed up just fine!
Despite being a bit leery of the big folk, he embraced the little folk just fine!

Kjersten captured this moment on a Sunday afternoon.  Pretty much sums up my life in one photo!
Ellie was so tired after Dug's visit, she let that tongue slip way out while sleeping.
Random picture of morning play time.  Some kind of cross between airline/restaurant/train robbery.  I was told to "turn off my electronic device" soon after.
We took advantage of Good Friday off of school to go kite flying with the Worsts.  Well, our kites did not fly, but thankfully theirs did and they share!

Sam started his first soccer class!  It's so fun to watch 3 year olds!  He knows Coach Bob from many of Noah's classes, so he jumped right in.  He was talking the WHOLE time!
That's our bitty boy in the orange!

We did some Easter egg decorating!

Noah started his soccer games this weekend.  It's been a great start to the season with a win today!  Noah played offense first (red team, sweatshirt underneath and black pants).
Then he played goalie and did a great job, stopping at least 3 or 4 different attempts.  It was fantastic!
Handshakes around, woohoo for our first win! (yep, no wins all fall season)
So, hope everyone has a lovely spring/Easter weekend!

1 year of 3 boys!

We did another Penney's photo shoot during spring break to capture the boys 1 year after we became a family of 5!  I'm horribly bias, but I think they came out pretty darn cute!

So happy 1st to Isaac, happy 6th to Noah, and happy to be alive at 3 Sam!

Thumbs up to Sheboygan, WI!

We ended our spring break week with a trip to Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI.  It's under 3 hours for us, and we went for just one night (so about 24 hours).  Totally worth it!  The big guys sat in the back for the ride, watching a movie.
Little man cashed out, but only for about 45 min.  Oh well, we kept him busy enough that he didn't notice how tired he was!
Noah was our sliding daredevil.  He rocked these medium slides all on his own!
Isaac LOVED the splash pad/zero depth area.  He crawled around and played so happily, it was adorable!
 Sam liked it too!
The view from our room was directly out to Lake Michigan.  A bit dreary looking this week, but I bet in the summer it's gorgeous!
We had a nice little suite with 2 queens and a half wall with a living area and fold out couch.
Free to roam and explore, this bed looks comfy!
Daddy is a master at the baby toss!
Everyone was EXHAUSTED after the afternoon at the waterpark!  We ordered some Jimmy Johns and enjoyed some Sponge Bob before crashing asleep!
The next day, we were back at the park!

Noah even did the bigger slides with mom and dad!  They were FAST and ended in dark tunnels, he couldn't get enough!
Thumbs up for a great family trip!
The lack of sleep finally catches up with someone.  Even the blaring music and happy screaming kids couldn't keep him awake!
So, we returned home to the real world.  Mike heads to a new job at Kraft this week and Noah and I head back to school.  I was cleaning out his backpack and found this gem...
I spent Saturday running errands with this guy.  We stopped for lunch at Taco Bell.  He couldn't resist shouting, "It's Taco Time!" at full volume.  He is TOO MUCH!
So, hurray for spring!  We welcome warmer weather, soccer season, and FAMILY Saturdays!
