Halloween Part I

So, here's a look at Noah in a few of his Fall Outfits. The dino one is from Aunt Val, so cute! Then today we went to my school in Plainfield for part of their Halloween party. He dressed up as a pumpkin, sort of, but he ended up looking somewhat like a skater pumpkin. Turned out cute nonetheless. Check out the "hat hair!"

Party People

This weekend we had an open house to have some friends over to check out the new place. Noah got all spiffed up (thanks to his dad's fashionable choices for him) and Cliff and Mike dressed eerily similar. We had a fantastic time, thanks to everyone that came. Noah was again after a beer and Mike scared the crap out of poor Fred. One of the highlights was the new hat that Noah got from Aunt Val. This cute, spiky dino hat is sure to be well used as the weather gets cooler!

The Joys of Boys!

Noah has become quite the proficient eater of late and enjoys blowing raspberries while eating. I think he heard about his friend Ayla doing it and thought it would be good to give it a try. Today, Fred came over and we cracked out the winter gear (because all good first time mommies dress their babies in layers when it drops below 60 degrees) for a walk. The boys are definitely getting harder to photograph together and are both more mobile everyday. Philie and I are bracing ourselves for the babygate and outlet cover stage. Uh-Oh! I love the last picture of them together where the both look midly annoyed with one another!

Peaches are Peachy!

Noah seems to get cuter by the minute (if that's even possible). This week, taking a cue from our friend Fred, Noah tried out these mesh feeding bag thingees. The idea is that you can put fruits or veggies in there and they can gum them to death without choking. Pretty cool! So Noah has been enjoying frozen peaches and as you can see, jams the whole thing in his mouth. He's also really been enjoying bathtime lately, and is quite the splasher and occasional diver. I've been trying to upload some video, but Blogger is not kind to my video format, so I'll keep working on that. For now, enjoy the pics of our cute little man!

Embarassing Photos ' R ' us

For those of you other than Philie and Kathleen, I apologize for the random post. Embarassing photos are my forte, and I had to jump in this fight whilst I could. Enjoy :)

My Lil Pumpkin

We went back up to Michigan this past weekend for a fall trip to local apple orchards and pumpkin patches. It was a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa. Noah got to see goats, horses, and peacocks. He was also the victim of Mommy and Grandma's many attempts to photograph him with simliarly shaped pumpkins. It was a great weekend, we went out on the boat again and Noah even got to try out his hanging chair from the bar! He's such a cute boy, how can we not take 8 million pictures of him?!

Another visit with the cousins

This past weekend we had a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Rodriguez, Aunt Kim, and Noah's cousins Nick and Francesca. Noah had lots of fun playing with his cousins and even got to try on Grandpa's hat! Noah loves having visits from all our wonderful family members. You can see how much Noah looks like his cousin, Nick!

Swimming...again!

We went swimming on Friday with our good friends Philie and Fred. Fred has mastered the bubble blowing, while Noah is more of a "drinker." The boys seemed to have a fun time and we were all worn out when it was over.

Mommy the Monster!

So a few days ago, I accidentally dinged Noah on the nose with my thumbnail. At first, I thought it was nothing, then I saw him bleeding and screaming and felt terrible. Of course it really helps that Daddy keeps saying, "Wow, that looks terrible! He looks like he was in a bar fight!" I don't think it looks that bad, but judge for yourself. Perhaps it does make him look a little "tougher."
