A little September catch up!

Well, you can tell when I get back to work, things get a little quieter on the blogging front.  Oh well!  So, back at the end of August, we celebrated Francesca's birthday with a visit to the cousins in Chicago Ridge!

Isaac felt the need to be shirtless, of course.
 Happy Birthday Francesca!
The boys decided to wear their matching Colorado State socks one day.
We experienced a creepy morning of spiderwebs all over the field on the way to Noah's school.
Spray gun painting with Bamma and Bampa!

I attended curriculum nights for Sam, my own school, and Noah on back to back to back nights.  It was a bit exhausting, but fun.  Noah had this sign waiting above his locker at school.
Another week of school done, how's about an ice cream cone to celebrate the start of Labor Day weekend?!

Labor Day weekend was a nice family weekend.  We had a meal at Tilted Kilt, where Sam annihilated some nachos!
 Family water fight!
 Our own outdoor bubble bath!

Time spent at the Townsends.  Isaac still needs to work on his swinging skills.
Extra day home with dad, McDonald's it is!
Sam started his 2nd year of preschool, again with Ms. Meghan.  He was pretty excited!

The weekend after Labor Day is always, RODEO WEEKEND!
Cooler temps this year required sweatshirts.
Waiting for the annual candy parade, with horses...

Saturday evening, we took a tractor shuttle from the parking lot with all 3 kids in tow this year!

Noah needed a new cowboy hat, we went to the design your own station.
Meanwhile Sam got a pony ride courtesy of Aunt Andrea!
 Finished product, pretty awesome!
Cotton candy is always the highlight!
Party of 5 this year, it was wild, cold, fun, and exhausting!
Gearing up for Bears opening before we head home!
This crew just keeps getting bigger and bigger!

This week, we celebrated Isaac's half birthday.  He did a pretty good job of showing exactly how fickle a 2.5 year old can be!

 Those eyebrows....

 Halfway to three, lookout world!
We also got a new roof this week, the younger two were pretty excited to see the crane truck that lifted all the shingles up to the roof!

Finally, last night Mike and I went to the wedding of one of Mike's buddies from grade school.  Alex and Liz picked a BEAUTIFUL day and a wonderful setting!
It was nice to be adults, if just for one night!
So now, bring on the fall, the football, and more fun!
