The boots were made for working...

We were going thru Noah's clothes this morning (a never ending process with a growing toddler) and pulled out his new work boots. He LOVES them and insisted on wearing them over his footie pajamas. I think he got his fashion sense from me, uh-oh!

A Weekend In

This past weekend we stayed in and enjoyed our new TV (the first one mike and I had ever purchased, we'd always had hand-me-downs). Mike's friend Jeremy was in town from D.C. so it was fun for Noah to meet him and the boys all played Wii together. Noah gets really into it and swings around furiously, he has probably watched me too much. Noah has also continued to look forward to bathtime. Today, he literally pulled his diaper off so that he could get in. What a goofball!

Weekend Apart

This past weekend Noah, Mike, and I all spent time doing different things. Noah went out to the Lakehouse with Grandma and Grandpa and went to the pumpkin farm. Mike stayed in town for his mom's 60th birthday party. I rode out to Fort Madison, IA with Michelle and Bob for a wedding. Michelle, Bob, and I got to spend all day Saturday taking care of Andrea's girls, Ayla (20 months) and Kyndal (4 months). We had such a great time, oh and Megan and Ian's wedding was fun too. It was great to see the rodeo crew just a month after rodeo. I'm pretty sure Noah had fun, and Mike did too. It was good to all get back together again come Sunday.

18 months!

We recently went in for photos to commemorate Noah at 18 months. He is such a little ham, he posed so cutely for all the pictures, it was hard to pick out our favorites. We also had a recent Dr. checkup that went well. Noah is now just about 26 pounds and 33 inches. He's in the 50% for weight and 75% for height, which apparently is good for "cage fighting" according to Uncle Josh. His little bean-head is in the 25% for circumference. But all is well, so we are happy!

Game Day at the Rodriguez House

Some of us in the Rodriguez Household take the Bears seriously (basically Noah and me)! So on Sundays we've been sporting some Bears gear. Although, it appears that Noah seems to have a bit of bad luck with jersey selection. The first game he wore Urlacher's number and Urlacher went down with a major injury. Today, he wore Hester's number and Hester went out in the first quarter with an injury. Don't worry, we don't have any more jerseys, so the rest of the Bears are safe. The elmo slippers are a new addition today. He LOVES them.
