Work those legs son!

Noah is now the happy owner of an exersaucer! The thing has so many toys, I was over-stimulated just putting it together! Shhhh, don't tell the kid it has batteries, we haven't turned any of the lights, bells or whistles on yet. He's a little small for it, but I'm sure he'll grow into it soon. He was especially pleased to find 2 different mirrors upon which to gaze at his handsome self. He's also now mastered the "seated nap" with dad's support of course. Good thing we're moving soon, Ellie officially has nowhere to run in our apartment anymore, poor thing!

3 months old!

Noah is 3 months old today! I can't believe how big he's gotten. We went to have professional pictures taken, he was so cute! If you'd like to see them, go to www.kiddiekandids.com and click on the Go Shopping at My Studio link on the top right of the menu. Put in sitting number 538026452 and sitting code 64E88E8 to see them. He has started laughing and smiling more and he sleeps 10 hours straight some nights, woohooo!

First trip out west

Noah and I took a trip with my parents out to Colorado to see some family. Noah did fabulously on the plane trips (you'll have to ask Grandma Chris about how she feels on the subject of holding infants during turbulence). He got to meet more uncles, aunts, and cousins. He really liked spending time with Grandma and Grandpa at the hotel. He also got to meet my good friend Brittney (dang we forgot to take pictures, Britt!). Overall it was a great trip, but we're glad to be home and back with Daddy.

The Lake Part 2: The Swimsuit competition

We spent another weekend up at Diamond Lake with the cousins. Noah went for his first swim with Uncle Josh. At first he screamed bloody murder, then he settled into it a little bit. We had a really fun weekend!

HUGE NEWS!

So, we have 2 very exciting news items to share with everyone. We bought a house! Now, we're still waiting on the contract, so nothing is finalized, but we did negotiate a price and terms and such. The home is 4 beds, 2 baths and is in Roselle, IL (just south of Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall area). It was definitely a stressful process, but we are very excited! Here's a picture of the house, we'll hopefully be moving into it in mid-August. The other piece of exciting news is that Noah slept thru the night last night! He ate at 10pm, woke up for a quick diaper change and re-swaddle at 1:30am and then back down till 6am this morning. So he went without eating for nearly 8 hours, which is GREAT! Mommy is very happy about this and hopefully it will start to be the trend versus just a fluke. So, to sum up, it has been a very exciting 24 hours in the Rodriguez house!!!

Sumo Baby!

So Noah, our not-so-little boy, headed back to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. He's up to 13 lbs 11 oz and 24.5 inches. He also got the dreaded shots today, thank goodness grandpa phil was there to lend some support and soothing words. We all survived the 4 shots and now he has cool daffy duck bandaids on his legs. Look at all the rolls this kid has!
