A whole lotta Sam Dan!

So, this week was a lot of Sam action!  As we celebrated his 4th birthday we had a very fun week!  We decorated the house with minions.
And he obliged with his best minion impression!
On Tuesday (his actual birthday), we had the Worst crew over for a puppy birthday lunch.  Sam loves puppies, loves snuggling with puppies, loves pretending to be a puppy.  So for his special day we had the boys eat on the floor puppy style!
Aunt Philie even had them balancing Scooby snacks on their noses!  It was pretty darn cute.
She made Sam this adorable shirt!
On Thursday, I took Sam out for a special birthday lunch all on his own with just me and Bamma!  At his doctors appointment he tipped the scales at 30lbs even (5th percentile) and 38.25 inches (7th percentile).  As the doctor put it so well, "he is a petite but healthy guy!"
After the doctor's office, I took Sam to a park to take some pictures capturing his 4-ness.  In a word, Sam is a goofball.
He is always looking to make people laugh!
His sweet nature also endears him to everyone he meets.

Of course, he had to steal the camera to get some funny photos of mommy!

On FUN Friday, we hit Santa's Village.  This year Sam was more willing to get on rides.
Even Isaac got in on the fun!
Our daredevil, Noah, did not disappoint.  He was all over the dragon coaster, now tall enough to ride solo!

The tilt-a-whirl was Noah's favorite, he went on 3 times!
They have a new deer area where you can go feed them, it was a big hit!

The camel was pretty pushy!
More rides!

And of course we had to see the goats!
Pony rides for all!

Tattoos for the big guys!
Sam's favorite part was visiting with Santa.
Santa tells the boys to make sure they behave, clean up, and listen!
He showed them the keys he uses to get in houses (like ours) that don't have chimneys.
I love this picture, not because Santa is showing them his route, but because Sam clings to Santa's hand.  It was a great day!
Saturday was spent on cake prep!  All agree, Mike continues to impress.  Sam wanted black puppy, Sam got black puppy!
You can tell how much he loves it just by the look on his face when daddy shows him the completed piece!
So today (Sunday) the usual suspects came over to celebrate our infamous 4 year old!
 Cake love!
He had to blow the candles out in the doorway before the wind did the job.

Excuse me, but where is my cake?
Thumbs up from the big man!
 Family love!

 He's four eveyone, he's four!!!
It was a great afternoon with family and friends.  Sam got some gifts and cash!
Uncle Josh and Kjersten scored big points with a remote control car.  No one's ankles were safe!
So, Sam is 4 and that is amazing!  We love you and your craziness Sam, our family wouldn't be the same without you!
