So, I've been a bit behind on my blog posts lately, sorry! But we've been up to lots of fun things. The boys and I did our first mini-golf trip. We went to a local place and had a blast. The boys may be missing some of the finer points of technique, but it was a great time.
For Labor Day weekend, we took a quick trip to the lakehouse and went to our favorite local Amish place for breakfast. Sammy handled his cinnamon roll just fine!
One of the big highlights of the last month was the annual Rodeo in Fort Madison. We did the math and realized we've been attending the rodeo for 10 years now (only 1 year did we miss out) and it has changed from just us 3 gals (Andrea, Michelle, and myself) to a giant family group.
I actually braved the rodeo itself with both boys this year. I had lots of help from all the other adults, and the boys did great considering we didn't get to bed until 11pm!
Trying to gather all the various kids for the annual photo shoot is always a challenge...
This group just keeps getting bigger and bigger!
The boys and I did a quick zoo trip and rode the Safari Ride (the little train/tram they have).
The zoo has do-it-yourself face paint they partook in.
The weather has been fantastic lately. We've had lots of trips to the park.
The BIGGEST news of late is....
Yep that's right, another Rodriguez kiddo is en route. We're expecting our newest addition at the end of March, and we are all so very excited!
Noah even drew a new family picture with (from left to right), the new baby in yellow, Mike in Red, me in purple, Noah in red/blue, and Sam in blue. It's crazy to think soon we'll be a group of 5!
