Cold and Kittens!

We are all ready for winter to be done!  But we have managed to have a bit of outdoor fun here and there despite the chilly weather.  Sam loves to go out in the snow and trek around!
We did some sledding with the Worsts on MLK day.  Big hill for the big boys!
Hattie and Isaac stuck to a smaller hill and enjoyed it too!
We have had some indoor fun too!  Isaac is enjoying gymnastics.
Noah had another belt test, his last one prior to his black belt!  Hopefully January 2020 will be when he tests!
We did some more sledding with Noah's friends Ari (and his sister) and Maya!
This hill was a little intimidating for Isaac, but fortunately he found some friends from school up top!
Back home for some hot cocoa!
Noah won an award at school for "speaking with good purpose," one of their keys for good character.
And we endured the Polar Vortex that came with 4 day off of school in one week!
And what doesn't make more sense than adopting kittens when it's -60 degrees windchill outside!  Mike and I had been planning on looking for a pair of kittens closer to spring break, but these cuties came up online and we went to go see them!  We brought home Talia (black and white) and her sister Serenity (all black)!  They were only about 3 months old and pretty scared when they came home.
Talia's eyebrows are something else!
The spent a couple days hiding out a lot under dressers and in closets, but slowly they started to come out and explore.
Addison came for a visit, love her so much!
The kittens warmed up a bit and let us get closer to pet them, Sam was thrilled!
They are VERY curious about Barry!
 So sweet and so sleepy!
They exhibit some very cat like behaviors!

 Very playful sisters!
Coming up with new names took some time and some math, but we finally landed on Molly and Lily (from Harry Potter: Molly Weasley and Lily Potter).  Molly is the all black, short haired girl; Lily is the black and white, long haired girl!
 They are snuggle bugs!
We are so pleased to have these sweet girls in our lives now, and we look forward to many happy memories with this cute pair!  Welcome home, Molly and Lily!
