Just got back from our first spring break trip in a LONG time, we headed to Phoenix for a Sunday-Thursday trip with our friends, the Townsends. It was wonderful; great weather and great exploring the outdoors!
The Air BnB we stayed in was awesome, the backyard had a huge pool, a hot tub, a putting green, a bags area, a ping pong table, a pickle ball court, a bocce ball area and a half basketball court. The kids LOVED it all!
We were able to see the Cubs play the White Sox, the sun was shining and the Cubbies looked great (until the bottom of the 9th), it ended in a tie game which seemed appropriate.
They even played Harry during the 7th inning stretch!
My cousin, Apryl and her husband, Mike live out there too. So, we were able to meet up with them for dinner and catch up. It was so nice!
The next day we drove up to Sedona to take in some of the sights. It was so awesome!
We had a great lunch and Sam even ordered himself a nice mocktail - vacation is the best!
The house had a firepit too, so one night we had to do s'mores!
On our last day we fulfilled a promise to Noah - hitting the local In-N-Out burger, a delicious end to our trip!
We are so thankful we got to enjoy some sun and a new place all together. Now back to life and the daily grind, but spring is here and things are looking up!
