The last 2 weeks have just been a blur of activities. Noah had an early out a couple Fridays ago and we enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch in the front yard!
Our neighbor Deven's birthday party was a nerf gun party at the park district gym. The boys were pumped!
Even Mike and I got into the fun. Mike shows his mad up skills. I have to admit, it was pretty fun pelting those little people with nerf bullets!
Noah, shielding his father from harm.
Sweaty after party with pizza and Noah's good pal, Colin.
I do love my home days, snuggling with this little man on the couch is pretty great.
We did a sandal inventory and scrubbing for the warmer season.
I celebrated my birthday with some of my fav ladies. Philie made us Disney villain shirts. Maleficent, Cruella, and Evil Queen (not picture - Philie is SO Ursula!).
Our big man learned how to tie his shoes, so now he can wear the sweet orange kicks to school!
The two older boys got their green belts in Karate. We're going to be hi-yaing for another month and then we'll take the summer off for Disney and swim lessons and such.
For Mother's Day, we made Bamma a bag for shopping, turned out pretty cute!
Brother love on the couch!
Mother's Day with my favorite people!
We had a nice lunch in Burr Ridge with the Hewes crew and then visited the Rodriguez crew after. It was a very nice day!
"Lady, I don't care if it is Mother's Day, you ain't getting my cupcake!"
We totally hogged our favorite little baby, Xavier!
He's getting so big!
This move is trademarked by Aunt Michelle. The "kleenex twisties jammed in the nostril to prevent runny nose" maneuver is demonstrated here by Sam.
Sweet doggers Ellie had to have a lump on her abdomen removed. She handle the surgery pretty well, although she was pretty groggy when she got home. Not sure what the future may bring for this 9 year old pup, but we're happy she's comfortable and recovering well.
This cone has great acoustics!
This past Thursday, I was able to take a personal day off work so I could take Sam on his preschool field trip to Pirate's Cove! Isaac stayed home with Laura and Noah had school, so it was just me and this cute dude!
It was a good pre-test for Disney, he went on all the rides and was even convinced by friends to do some things he thought might be a little scary. It was fun to run around the place when it wasn't crowded (they haven't officially opened to the public yet) nor hot.
Sam spent the day spending a lot of time with Katie and Anthony, two friends from school.
We ended the day with a trip to Dairy Queen! It's nice to get a little one on one time with each of my special men :)
