Ready for July fun!

Well, I think we are doing a grand job of making fun memories this summer if I do say so myself!  Back up a bit, to Friday 6/24.  We had enjoyed our week of tennis lessons and spent a fun Friday at Cantigny with the Worsts!
We had a great time climbing around all the tanks.
Just hanging out with the moms!

Dramatic Sam, "Man down, man down!"
 Girl power!
3-year-old tantrum over wanting to be up, but not wanting any help, joy.

Serious dog snuggles!
Noah did another Lowe's project with Mike, while Sam, Isaac, and I went to the Touch a Truck event that our park district puts on each year.  Helicopter first!

 Plane de-icer was pretty cool!

I just have a feeling that this won't be his only time in the back of a police car...
Free shaved ice from a penguin truck, yes please!
We have done a lot of crafting lately, Sam loved the pipe cleaner turtles!
 First slurpees of the season!
Yes, yes we really "need" all these perler beads!
We took a trip out to Philips Park Zoo in Aurora, very fun!  The peacocks were major show offs.
Sam LOVES alligators and crocodiles, he was thrilled!
 Obligatory snake picture for Bamma!
 It was a great day!
The Worst renovation is almost complete, so we hosted a sleepover with the kids so the parents could get some drywalling and other things done.  Six kids, one house, no prob!

Hattie and Isaac were in our room, Hattie was happy to have Ellie on the floor with her!  Isaac was happy to be wedged between us and kicking us all night!
Breakfast, at 6:15am, well we survived the night, right?
They've come a long way since 2 years ago when Hattie wouldn't get out of our arms when Ellie was around!
Hattie looks adoringly at Isaac, who looks less than impressed.
 Shark week desserts!
A quick few games of shark bingo before they left, it was so much fun!
We got to watch Anya, Faith and Evan's dog, while they traveled.  The boys all love her so, I think she tolerates them.
"Look at my painting, it's amazing colorful!"
 Shark week shirts!
Here, let me help you with that homework...
So, we kicked off our 4th of July weekend/Daddy staycation week with a craft class (which was mildly disasterous) and pizza lunch with the Worsts.
Impossible to get all 6 looking at me!
Noah selected an "interesting" haircut for the summer!
I had some great candy makers help me with chocolate dipped oreos and pretzels for the holiday!
We spent the 3rd at Papa's pool, but made it home to go over to fireworks.  Sam, Noah, and I went over to watch.  Daddy and Isaac hung back to see the visibility from the backyard (thumbs up for next year on the patio!).  Glowsticks make the wait tolerable...
We joined the Townsends for the show.
After the fireworks we had a family sleepover in the living room.  Needless to say, there was not as much "sleeping" as expected but it was fun!  Good thing we had these glowsticks to light the room the whole night!

Anya does enjoy a good lap to sit in!
One project tackled while Mike was off this week was staining the deck.  We are so happy with it!
 Duct tape rockets, very fun!

And today, we spent the day with the Mioni cousins!  We went to Coral Cove and had lots of fun swimming!
And had to hit up Culvers for some treats after!
Of course you need to see a Sam photobomb, don't you!
So, here we go into July, swim lessons, basketball, and Sam's birthday!  Hope I can keep up!
