We just love summer!

One of the best parts about summer is getting to spend more time with friends that live farther away.  We hardly see the Worsts during the school year, even though they are only 20-25 minutes away, it's just too difficult with school schedules.  We really love having plenty of play time during the summer.  Connor, our buddy from DC, was in town too for a tie dye playdate and water fun!
 Tie dye end result, awesome!
A trip to the annual Weingart garage sale resulted in the acquisition of a really great (sarcasm alert) horn for Isaac.  Thankfully the hulk boy broke it in just a couple hours!
We have fully embraced the Pokemon Go phenomenon!  Mike and I both have it on our phones and we've been averaging 5-7 miles a day of trips out to catch em all!

Mike sent us a text when he caught the elusive Pikachu, we were all amazed!
Potty training continues with mixed success...
Swim lessons started up, my first year not in the pool in the mom/tot class!
Isaac has learned to be more careful around water, which is great, he now clings to his teacher (Mr. Jackson), which isn't so great.  Well, 2 steps forward 1 step back.
Noah conquered his fear of the high dive!
Potty present earned, now we just need to get the consistency thing down.
Noah had a week of afternoon basketball camp, which he liked but wore him out!
Isaac had a solo sleepover at Bamma and Bampa's.  He was VERY excited to pack his suitcase and get some 1 on 1 time!
I did Ravinia with the older two boys.  Holst's planets performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra!
Gotta hit the ice cream, they had plenty of Pokemon to find there too!
Came prepared for a storm, ponchos definitely came in handy!
We got poured on just before concert time, but it cleared off and the music started.  It was a great night even if it was a little damp.  For each planet song played, they showed NASA footage from said planet.  It was really cool!
Back in swim lessons the smaller two got their first chance in the deep deep pool.  They did pretty well!

The Worsts got to move into their newly remodeled home.  It is wonderful!  Michelle and I helped move some last things from the apartment.  She was determined to "Weingart it" which basically means problem solve and tetris the car in order to get as much stuff in one trip as possible!
Noah found a 4 leaf clover and was VERY excited about it!
Sam's artwork is really coming along.  He used a step by step tutorial to draw Pikachu.
Ridiculous bedhead from the boy who refuses haircuts!
Pool days with friends are the best kind of days!
Ellie continues her reign of terror on the couch.
Philie and I went to Wine Down Wednesday, an event in Dundee that our friend Erin helps coordinate for her job, it was so fun!
We closed it down and even managed to tag along to the staff after party.  We are just that cool!
And this morning's project, Solo cup jellyfish!
We prepared now, to celebrate Sam turning 6!  Can't wait!
