May Day, May Day!

Happy first day of May!  We've been eating up the rest of my leave with plenty of fun stuff.  We have our moments of 3 boys where we want to pack them up and ship them to China...

But most days are awesome.  And now that the weather is nicer and I'm feeling better (read: NOT pregnant or recovering from childbirth), it's been great!  We've been taking out the magnifying glasses to search for signs of life in the spring air.

I have a new app on my phone for editing pictures and I've had fun messing with it.  Sam enjoys rocking out to dance party music (Thunderstruck is a big fave).

We had a playdate from preschool, Noah's buddy Kyle came over last Monday.  We all headed out in the beautiful weather and Daddy taught them about the power of magnifying glasses in the sunlight. 

Noah had his 5 year doctor appointment and got 2 shots in each leg, a shot in the arm, and a finger prick.  It was brutal, so we went out for ice scream afterwards.

This chunker weighed in at the doctor, a whopping 13 lbs 4 oz, which means he's gained 5 pounds since birth.  He's 23 inches long, which is a gain of 3 inches since birth.  Yep, that puts him in the higher than 95% and in 6 month clothes at 6 weeks.  Total change from Sam who was 9 lbs at this age and even Noah who was 11 lbs at this age.  

Bampa is encouraging Colorado State even at this young age.

 Yesterday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather to go to the zoo with Bamma and Michelle, Evie and Leo.  It was awesome!

 The bigger kids enjoyed doing their own facepaint.

 Ike survived his first zoo trip and is enjoying airing out his immense leg rolls in the warm weather!
