We are almost there, to the promised land of summer! But we've been plenty busy with a lot of fun things the last couple weeks. Isaac had an indoor soccer class due to rainy weather. He loved it!
Our amazing nanny, Laura, took the younger two to her house and local park!
I was able to go on a field trip with Sam's class to see Charlotte's Web. 70 some people crammed on the bus to Drury lane, crazy!
He was pretty pooped on the way back.
We hit Taco Bell since we're the only 2 in the family who actually enjoy it!
Isaac had a super fun time with Bamma and Bampa going to Pilot Pete's for lunch.
They had a perfect spot to watch planes!
Noah had "explore more" day at school. It's a day where kids get to sign up for high-interest classes held by teachers, parents, and community members. He showed off his magic skills to the neighborhood!
Chalk disaster!
Over the weekend, we did a special "dessert only" meal at Red Robin. The kids have always wanted to get dessert, but we're usually too full after a meal there. So this time, we went only for dessert! It was awesome, we all agreed Noah's Brownie Sundae was the best!
Sam had a class picnic. Can you see who lined up with the class like he belongs?
Miss Megan and Miss Sue are just the best!
We started our deck/patio project. By "we" I mean the people we hired to do it, since we have zero deck building skills. The cement patio went in first, much to our excitement!
Isaac LOVES the big trucks!
Noah enjoyed his field trip to the Shedd Aquarium with 2nd grade.
New patio looks great!
Soccer continues and Bampa and Sam sometimes come along when I walk Isaac over for his practice.
Our big event of the week was Sam's preschool graduation! They do the full deal, with caps and gowns and processions and diplomas and all!
Processional!
He did a great job and even gave Miss Megan a big smootch on the cheek as he accepted his diploma!
Peanut gallery: Isaac sat with his arms crossed the whole time, not impressed at all!
So great that his grandparents could come!
The two goofs: Sam and his BFF Ava S!
Ice cream straight outta the bucket for the Brandywine heathens!
We had Xavier for the evening, he wasn't to happy about it, but we were!
Car wash sunday!
This week brought about deck demo, which was very fun to watch!
So, we look forward to a finished deck and a finished school year, both coming soon!
