Now to catch up on life since Disney. It was good to be back in our own home, even though we did experience a little withdrawal. But we have plenty of souvenirs to remember our trip by!
We hit the books, getting back to our summer schedule of reading and writing time each day. Sam proudly displays the first time he wrote his brother's name "Isaac" all on his own!
I think our furry friend was glad to have her entertaining boys back. She was pretty worn out from all the attention and walking she got while we were away, though!
We got back to our regular outdoor time without 100 degree heat and humidity, it was glorious!
Some chalk dusting for fun!
We hit the zoo on a day that was forecasted to be stormy. Turned out beautiful and not too crowded!
The lion was getting a drink right by the glass, it was pretty awesome!
Dolphin viewing area all to ourselves!
Traditional "Send Grandma a picture of snakes" shot!
The peacocks were out and about, which is always fun to see up close!
Giraffes were enjoying the cooler temps too!
Noah loves to go into the Australia house to see the bats. We discovered, they are RODRIGUES fruit bats. Pretty cool, even if they do spell Rodriguez wrong.
This guy went to his first movie, "Inside Out." I'm not sure how much he liked the movie, but he certainly enjoyed cramming popcorn in his mouth the entire time!
Beautiful days outside are just the best!
So, you could say we're recovering just fine!
