Loving our summer days!

We are really squeezing the fun into our summer right now!  We've been busy with swim lessons lately and other fun little side trips.  Last week, we went to Harvester Park in Burr Ridge.  It is a GREAT park and we were able to spend more time with our buddies Connor and Erin.  Noah built this sand monster, he was quite proud of it.
At home, we've been up to the usual shenanigans of box art/craft/costuming.
My chiropractor told us to look for his sign at the pool, "Look mom, he's famous!"
It was a tad cool for July in Chicago last week (60s) but we soldiered on and had swim lessons.  We even stayed for free swim later and had the pool to ourselves!
Isaac in the new summer look for 2015, Diaper, Crocs, and Sweatshirt!
When the mosquitos aren't swarming us, we try to get out to the driveway each day to play for a bit.  Last week we got out the hula hoops and played "ring the brother."

I discovered a new little beverage at the store which was delicious!
Schaumburg Farmer's Market for balloon animals and duck feeding!

Star Wars movie time, we love the freedom of our summer days!
On Saturday we used some free bowling games to take a family trip to the alley.
Mike shared some technique and pointers with the boys.

They both improved over the course of the game, it was a lot of fun!

Family couch time, just ignore Isaac's hand in the pants maneuver.
Pinterest fail of the week.  We've seen several pins and videos about making a watermelon explode by adding several hundred rubber bands around the middle.  We just ended up with sore hands from breaking rubber bands and an intact melon.  Lessons learned: we need a LOT of rubber bands, we need large rubber bands, and an oblong fruit shape would be better.  But it was delicious to eat!
